The reserve’s dry subtropical semi-evergreen scrub with some broad leaved trees, shrubs and a basal grass cover is the preferred habitat of black and grey frankolins DPWR ensures sustainable hunting of the wildlife species allowed to be harvested from the reserve like black frankolins, grey partridges and pheasants; as well as recreational clay pigeon shooting and skeet shooting
Water Sports
The reserve offers numerous recreational water sport activities, like kayaking, jet skiing , motor boating, swimming etc.
Hiking
Located on the southern edge of the potohar plateau, the area offers a rocky terrain, stunning landscapes, steep descents into valleys, challenging elevations and scenic routes for hiking.
